About us
Katie Sadler and Sam Missingham first worked together at HarperCollins. With Katie in the fiction marketing team, and Sam looking after audience development, they organised a number of high-profile events designed to engage readers on- and offline, including the first ever, award-winning Digital Romance Festival, and a live-streamed in-person event with George R.R. Martin and Robin Hobb.
Now they continue to work with authors and publishers on their marketing, and work together to run The Empowered Author, a membership website and free Facebook group created to give authors actionable advice to bring their books to the widest possible readership.
